Last weekend, a party from Merlin Cottages had a great day in the Crychan Forest between Brecon and Llandovery.  Tirabad Outdoor Activity Centre arranged a full day of activity and adventure for the party aged from 11 to 60+  with gorge scrambling, crate tower building and archery. The gorge scrambling involved the group doing a roped walk down a steep sided gorge and then scrambling along the bottom of the gorge and sliding into a rock pool. The final roped climb was up a steep ravine with a vertical rock face and waterfall. Our thanks to Jeff and Adam, the the instructors from Tirabad, who showed us how to use all of the climbing equipment and made it a great day.
